Pink to Blue

So I was given the opportunity to apply my photoshop skills today by an old friend from elementary school. She asked me if I can save her son's birthday cake. He had his birthday party and when they picked up his birthday cake it was a disaster, the cake is super cute but a little too girly for this little boy's taste. The cake was pink!!! but the party must go on. I told her I will give it a shot and this is what I came up with:

Finally! Food Photo Op

I finally finished the photo editing for the new menu of Pelagia Trattoria. A great photo op and practice for me. I'm pretty happy how it turned out considering I have zero practice on food photography.
Food photography is a still life specialization of commercial photography, aimed at producing attractive photographs of food for use in advertisements, packaging, menus or cookbooks. Professional food photography is a collaborative effort, usually involving an art director, a photographer, a food stylist, a prop stylist and their assistants.
From what I heard food photography makes the most money for still photographers hmmm I think I need to practice more : ) here's the finish products:

Sneak Peak of the new DALI MUSEUM

As part of the Bay Area Concierge Association, we were given the opportunity to take a peak of the new home of Salvador Dali creations. His artwork will be displayed at this incredible architecture that will surely wow many spectators. It was a great photo op so I definitely did not leave my camera at home. Here are some of the shots I took with minor editing using Adobe Lightroom 2. Please ENJOY!!!

My loving husband Timothy, joined me to the sneak peak
